Markie Post is a noted American actress who is known for her roles as the public defender Christine Sullivan in NBCs sitcom Night Court the bail bondswoman Terri Michaels in ABCs drama show The Fall Guy and Georgie Anne Lahti Hartman in CBSs sitcom Hearts Afire. She has worked in several other series in addition to acting. She was raised with her two brothers and sisters in Walnut Creek, Stanford and by Richard F. Post's wife who is a poet, Marylee Post. Las Lomas High School, which she was a cheerleader. The school she attended was Pomona College. Post was previously married to Stephen Knox. Michael A. Ross (actor/writer) is the husband of Post since 1982. They have two daughters. Post's work as wife as well as mother is admired by many Hollywood celebrities. Early credits of Post's include a 1981 Barnaby-Jones pilot, Simon & Simon: Details at Eleven in 1981 season one, episode 2 of The Greatest American Hero and episodes from The A-Team. In 1983 Post played a variety of characters on The Only Church in Town and Hot Styles in 1984. After appearing in Buck Rogers: The Twenty-First Century, and in Cheers as Diane Chambers best friend, she made an appearance on ABC's action drama The Fall Guy.
